Big Bass: Bill Gretten

1st Place: Curia and Gravert

 

 Thirty nine teams faced a late take off on 8-27-17, due to thunder, lightning and heavy rain to prove they could meet the challenge, with 38 teams bringing fish to the scales, which included 20 limits.

Big bass was brought to the scales by Bill Gretten, a nice 4.90 lbs, using a white Spro frog in shallow clear water around weeds. Jamie Curia and Nathan Gravert took the 1st place win with a hefty limit of 18.56 lbs, fishing the south end of the pool with a white Fibra Shock in shallow stained water over grass and wood. Fishing alone, Gary Jones cashed the 2nd place check with 16.14 lbs followed by the 3rd place team of Luke Berry and Kolbi Reeder with 15.85 lbs. The 4th, 5th and 6th places were very tight, Jeff Gee and Steve Majewski finished in 4th with 14.99 lbs, Bill Gretten and Bob Walker in 5th with 14.96 lbs and Bob Hutchcroft and Rodney Schnoor in 6th with 14.65 lbs.

Congrats to the winners on a great job and thanks to all 39 teams for participating.
