Big Bass: Kurt Kahl
1st Place: Feldermann and Kahl
On a warm humid and cloudy day with the river on the rise from take off to weigh in, 39 teams met the tough conditions, yes they were tough with only 16 teams weighing in a limit.
Using white frogs around weeds and pads at mid pool, Kurt Kahl and Mike Feldermann bested the field with 18.26 lbs, including Kurt's big bass of the day, a 5.54 lb toad. Bob Hutchcroft and Rodney Schnoor finished in 2nd place with 17.25, cashing the 3rd place check with 16.86 lbs was Luke Berry and Kolbi Reeder. Mark Steiger and Terry Mathias weighed in the 4th place bag of 16.04 lbs and cashed the $100.00 AC decal award. Bill Gretten and Bob Walker brought 15.65 lbs to the scales for 5th place and the team of Chuck Fiser and Roger Koopman cashed the last check of the day, with 14.45 lbs.
