1st Place: Gretten and Walker
Big Bass: Mike Alger
A cold, cloudy and windy day was the challenge that 44 teams faced on the Mississippi Pool 13 division 5-21-17.
The team of Bill Gretten and Bob Walker proved they could still get it done, even under tough conditions, bringing a weight of 17.68 lbs to the scales to take 1st place. They stated they had to fish in several spots and cover types with Big Bite green plastics to achieve this win.
Cole Atkinson and Tanner Atkinson cashed the 2nd place check with 17.11 lbs. A weight of 15.84 lbs gave Jamie Curia and Nathan Gravert 3rd place. Mike Alger and Brad Albers bag of 15.63 lbs, including Mike's big bass of the day took 4th place. Mike used a green pumpkin Sinko in shallow stained water to catch this dandy. Following very close with 15.62 lbs was Jeff Gee and Steve Majewski with 15.62 lbs for 5th place, finishing in 6th place was Jim Combs and Shane True with 15.29 lbs, Adam Crigger and Scott Crigger cashed the last check of the day for 7th place, weighing in 14.93 lbs.
