 June 9th, 2012 Lake ShaferÖ
The third event for the Anglerís Choice region three Indiana trail was held on Lake Shafer June 9th, 2012. For the first time this year a tournament was going to be held with very warm conditions and the summer recreational season well under way. Lake Shafer can be a very tough place to fish once the summer season has started, but sixteen teams rolled into Indiana Beach Campground to participate in the event.
Congratulations to Jim McWhirter and Rod Coffing for taking first place in this event. Jim and Rod were able to bring in a very respectable limit that weighed 11.93 pounds. This is Jim and Rodís first win of the season.
In second place was the team of Dusty and Brian Robinson. Dusty and Brian were also able to bring in a nice limit that weighed 11.2 pounds. With three solid tournaments, Dusty and Brian have taken over the lead in the Anglerís of the Year points lead. It is very early in the season, but Dusty and Brian have positioned themselves to make a run at the coveted title. Congratulations on a great day and awesome start to your season guys!
